Privacy policy

This notice explains what personal data we collect through this website, why, and what you can do about it. It is written under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

1. Who processes your data

Dariko Tutova, an independent education consultant based in the Russian Federation, is the controller of the personal data described here.

For anything to do with your data — a copy of it, a correction, deletion, or a complaint — write to darikotut@gmail.com.

2. What we collect

When you use the form on this site: your name, and at least one way to reach you — a Telegram username or an email address. If you write something in the message field, that too, along with whatever you choose to put in it.

Only after you consent to cookies: your IP address, device and browser type, where you arrived from, and which pages you read. Details are in the cookie policy.

We do not collect special categories of data — health, religion, political opinion — and do not ask for them. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

3. Why, and on what legal basis

To answer your enquiry and hold the free assessment. Legal basis: art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — steps taken at your request before entering into a contract. This is why the form asks for no consent: you are not consenting to anything, you are asking us to reply.

We send no marketing and run no newsletter. If that changes, it will be described here and consent for it collected separately.

4. Who else is involved

We do not sell personal data and do not pass it to anyone for their own purposes. Hosting, storage, messaging and analytics are provided by specialist suppliers acting on our instructions, under their own terms and privacy policies.

5. Transfers outside the European Economic Area

The controller is established in the Russian Federation, and the technical means used to run this site and store enquiries are located outside the EEA. There is no European Commission adequacy decision covering these transfers.

Where the transfer concerns your enquiry, it is made under art. 49(1)(b) GDPR — necessary for steps taken at your request before entering into a contract. Where it concerns analytics, it is made under art. 49(1)(a) — your explicit consent, given in the cookie banner.

You should be aware that the level of protection in those countries may be lower than in the EEA, and that enforcing your rights there may be harder.

6. How long we keep it

Enquiries: three years from your last contact with us, then deleted. Analytics: for the lifetime of the counters described in the cookie policy.

7. Your rights

You may ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict what we do with it, or object to processing. You may ask for your data in a machine-readable format. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time, which does not affect what was lawful before you did.

If you think we have got this wrong, you may complain to the data protection authority of the country you live in. In Italy that is the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.

8. What we do not do

There is no automated decision-making and no profiling. Nothing on this site decides anything about you without a person involved.

9. Whether you have to give us anything

You do not. Providing your data is neither a legal nor a contractual requirement. But we have no way to answer an enquiry that carries no way to reach the person who sent it.

10. Changes

When this notice changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Every enquiry sent stays tied to the version that was published when it was sent.
